Chair Capital is a specialist investment firm deploying £10M to £100M+ into companies building critical infrastructure across energy, digital, AI, and MedTech. We are hiring a Junior Analyst to join our Analysis and Operations team. This is a generalist role across the full transaction lifecycle, from first meeting through to contracted offer and capital deployment. You will work alongside senior team members on live deals, gaining exposure to the architecture behind each transaction.
The role
Sector and market research, including competitive analysis and demand modelling to support investment theses
Assisting with financial modelling, valuation work, and capital structure analysis
Preparing investor decks and supporting the drafting of Memorandums of Understanding and other transaction documents
Coordinating diligence inputs across technical, legal, and commercial workstreams
Contributing to Investment Committee materials and follow-up analysis
Supporting portfolio monitoring and milestone tracking post-deployment
About you
Up to 2 years of relevant experience, or a recent graduate with strong internships in finance, consulting, or a related field
2:1 or above in any discipline; quantitative or commercial subjects are a plus
Solid grounding in financial concepts and a willingness to develop modelling skills on the job
Genuine interest in critical infrastructure, energy transition, or applied AI
Patience and attention to detail, with an appetite for deep work on complex transactions
